Rencontre annuelle de l’AJFE

’est dans une ambiance décontractée
Cet chaleureuse que l’apéro annuel
de l’AJFE - Association des Anciens de
Jamhour en France et en Europe - s’est
déroulé le samedi 15 octobre 2022
au Pullman Paris Bercy. Des Anciens
venus de plusieurs régions de France
se sont retrouvés, autour du Père Bouzy
aumônier de l’AJFE, Me Alexandre Najjar
(Promo 84) invité d’honneur a partagé un
« Dictionnaire amoureux de Jamhour »
qui a ravivé de nombreux souvenirs. Une
délégation venue spécialement du Liban
pour cet évènement, dont le Recteur,
P. Charbel Batour, S.J. qui a donné des
nouvelles du Collège et M. Joe Saddi
(Promo 76) Président de l’association de l’Amicale des Anciens Élèves de
Jamhour, ainsi que plusieurs membres du comité directeur de l’Amicale.

The London chapter

he London chapter of the Amicale des Anciens Élèves
Tde Jamhour organized its annual autumnal reunion on
the 16 of November 2022 at the Antelope London in the
th
presence of RP Charbel Batour S.J., Mr. Anis Barakat and
Mrs. Zeina El Murr. More than 50 alumni attended this event
with graduation years ranging from 1989 to 2022.
Rouane Nahas, lead committee member of the chapter,
opened the event with an enthusiastic speech reiterating the
chapter’s commitment to maintain the strong bond between
Jamhour, Lebanon, and their scattered diaspora.
The lively event saw old school friends reconnecting and
older alumni sharing their wisdom with fresh graduates
looking to tackle London university life.
Looking ahead, the chapter is aiming to increase its efforts
during 2023 with an exciting pipeline of events in the works,
always in the view of building a stronger network and
supporting the school.
