happened afterwards. It was a flux of movement, sound
and colors. My hand was writing away on its own. My
signature became muscle memory, even though I had
spent weeks being worried about forgetting how to do it.
The people I said hello to and thanked passed so quickly
that I didn’t have time to take in all of them. It all came
and went so swiftly and I felt like I was barely there for
it. If anyone asked me now if I remember what I wrote to
them, or what happened outside of my little bubble of
writing and smiling, I honestly couldn’t tell them.
One of my friends, on the other hand, does remember.
She says, “The signing was an amazing debut for the
book series, as well as an amazing get-together for us
to get the book and talk about it. It was a great time full
of fun!”
All in all, it was an incredible experience full of joy and
I could not be more grateful for it. I could not be more
grateful to everyone who supported me and I could not
feel more loved by my school and the people around me.
