Interdisciplinary project: Eastwood College
The students that we are supposed to invite to our school were from "Eastwood College". At ten o'clock, during the break, we went to the library. The pupils met us there. We were eager to see them. And then we started to ask questions in English about all the things in their school and they did the same. At twenty past eleven we went -again- to enjoy our break. There, the supervisors were waiting for us, they gave us food. The sandwiches were delicious. I think the class felt that they weren't exited to see us or to play with us. They were very shy. Some groups sat alone with their class-mates. We returned to the library after the short break: it was questions time in Arabic. At ten past twelve, we went to the "Sport Center". We were divided into two groups: "Basket Ball" and "Trempoline". Again we invited the girls and the boys to play. The girls weren't very interested at the beginning but after we insisted, they finally agreed. The boys were exited to play with us. They seemed very interested "unlike the girls". Ofcourse, our supervisors helped us to keep communication with them. They wanted us to stay together to get closer, so that we can be friends.
After this day, before "Eastwood College" left, they thanked us for this beautiful day and good time that we spent together. And we did the same. I think that this day was made to teach us that we can communicate with other people from different cultures and teach them how to talk in our language. Thanks to our school!!
