When we got there, a nun gave us a very warm
welcome. She then told us the story of Saint Rafqa
and the last miracle she performed, which was in November 2017.
Our next stop was the tomb of Saint Nimutallah Al-Hardini and Blessed Estephan Nehme.
It’s been 38 years since his death, but the body of Blessed Estephan Nehme is still here, it hasn’t been degraded and
we were able to see it.
Later on, we went to the Patriache Hoayek’s convent. A nun introduced his story and that’s when we realized the
important role he played in the history of our country. A few minutes later, we visited the museum where we took a
look at some of his personal belongings, such as manuscript letters or even his clothing.
Our final stop was lunch, they offered us manakish, we played some music and people started dancing everywhere,
          even the teachers.
Although it was raining constantly, we still managed to have a great time while discovering nature and learning more
          about spiritual values.
                                                                                                   Lyne Bdeir 1 ES2
